Dreams (Part B)

I'm back, I told you I would be back to finish what I started. Dreams really are helpful. When we have a bad day and are mad we can dream about how it could have been better. We can dream about anything! We dream everynight- maybe we dont remember our dreams, but we definatly have dreams. Dreams TRULY help people. I mean look something that truly changed the entire outlook for the whole nation about racial discrimination. Was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He had a dream- He had a wonderful dream. Were everyone could go to the same schools, and get along. Rosa Parks even helped change it so that anyone can sit where ever they want on a bus. She and King helped shape our world/nation today. They had a dream, that we could all get along, and it hasn't completely happend. I mean unfortunatly we still stuggle sometimes with things but we do get along without killing each other everyday over something as simple, as stupid as the color of skin or whether you were a guy or a girl. We do have many advantages now. BECAUSE someone had a DREAM and that someone acted upon it. Thank the good lord that they DID act upon their dreams. That they did find they courge- the shear determination and will power to do so. Thank GOD!!!
Now as I have promised here are a few more of those wonderful quotes:

1."Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world."-- Joel Barker
2. "Imagination has brought mankind through the dark ages to its present state of civilization. Imagination led Columbus to discover America. Imagination led Franklin to discover electricity. Imagination has given us the steam engine, the telephone, the talking-machine, and the automobile, for these things had to be dreamed of before they became realities. So I believe that dreams--daydreams, you know, with your eyes wide open and your brain machinery whizzing--are likely to lead to the betterment of the world. The imaginative child will become the imaginative man or woman most apt to invent, and therefore to foster, civilization."-- L. Frank Baum
3. "There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, 'Yes, I've got dreams, of course I've got dreams.' Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they're still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to hold them up and say, 'How good or how bad am I?' That's where courage comes in."-- Erma Louise Bombeck
4. "The Human Spirit can never be paralyzed. If you are breathing, you can dream."-- Michael Brown
5. "There are many ways of breaking a heart. Stories were full of hearts being broken by love, but what really broke a heart was taking away its dream-whatever that dream might be."-- Pearl Sydenstricker Buck
6. "When you have a dream you've got to grab it and never let go."-- Carol Burnett
7. "Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that ..."-- George (Denis) Carlin
8. "Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so."-- Belva Davis
