A Poem....

Pain inside
No one cares
No one knows
Just how hurt I am
No one knows just what is wrong
No one wants to know the pain
It gets to be so much

With God around
I can feel his touch
With god around I feel the pressure
Of the lime-light of faith
Staying true to one so long

Sometimes I brake away
Sometimes I feel it getting to me
It brings me down to the ground
Tears flow like a river
Suppressed by others telling me
What to do, who to be
Saying, “You CAN’T do that!”
“You WON’T make it!”

As I dwell in the torments of others
As I dwell in the past pain

I am alone
I am in pain
I am ME

George Carlin Humor....

CONSTITUTION
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.

TEN COMMANDMENTS
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse? You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile work environment!

Dreams (Part C)

Imagination... Dreams help to shape our imagination. They help to keep us youthful and keep us imagining those good times long gone. Dreams are a wonderus thing. They can scare someone or they can make you feel like there ain't a care in the world. Dreams give birth to some very cool things. I mean look at orval and welber wright- they dreamed, they dreamed up the Airplane. Look at columbus, he dreamed of a far off land shore waiting to be discovered. There are so many wonderful things that come from dreams. They are a splinded wonder. Keep Dreaming.

1. "If you can dream it, you can do it."-- Walt(er) Elias Disney
2. "All of our dreams can come true -- if we have the courage to pursue them."-- Walt(er) Elias Disney

4. "Within our dreams and aspirations we find our opportunities."-- Sue Atchley Ebaugh

10. "I don't possess a lot of self-confidence. I'm an actor so I simply act confident every time I hit the stage. I am consumed with the fear of failing. Reaching deep down and finding confidence has made all my dreams come true."-- Arsenio Hall
11. "You gotta have a dream. If you don't have a dream, how you gonna make a dream come true?"-- Oscar Hammerstein, II

Dreams (Part B)

I'm back, I told you I would be back to finish what I started. Dreams really are helpful. When we have a bad day and are mad we can dream about how it could have been better. We can dream about anything! We dream everynight- maybe we dont remember our dreams, but we definatly have dreams. Dreams TRULY help people. I mean look something that truly changed the entire outlook for the whole nation about racial discrimination. Was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He had a dream- He had a wonderful dream. Were everyone could go to the same schools, and get along. Rosa Parks even helped change it so that anyone can sit where ever they want on a bus. She and King helped shape our world/nation today. They had a dream, that we could all get along, and it hasn't completely happend. I mean unfortunatly we still stuggle sometimes with things but we do get along without killing each other everyday over something as simple, as stupid as the color of skin or whether you were a guy or a girl. We do have many advantages now. BECAUSE someone had a DREAM and that someone acted upon it. Thank the good lord that they DID act upon their dreams. That they did find they courge- the shear determination and will power to do so. Thank GOD!!!
Now as I have promised here are a few more of those wonderful quotes:

1."Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world."-- Joel Barker
2. "Imagination has brought mankind through the dark ages to its present state of civilization. Imagination led Columbus to discover America. Imagination led Franklin to discover electricity. Imagination has given us the steam engine, the telephone, the talking-machine, and the automobile, for these things had to be dreamed of before they became realities. So I believe that dreams--daydreams, you know, with your eyes wide open and your brain machinery whizzing--are likely to lead to the betterment of the world. The imaginative child will become the imaginative man or woman most apt to invent, and therefore to foster, civilization."-- L. Frank Baum
3. "There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, 'Yes, I've got dreams, of course I've got dreams.' Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they're still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to hold them up and say, 'How good or how bad am I?' That's where courage comes in."-- Erma Louise Bombeck
4. "The Human Spirit can never be paralyzed. If you are breathing, you can dream."-- Michael Brown
5. "There are many ways of breaking a heart. Stories were full of hearts being broken by love, but what really broke a heart was taking away its dream-whatever that dream might be."-- Pearl Sydenstricker Buck
6. "When you have a dream you've got to grab it and never let go."-- Carol Burnett
7. "Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that ..."-- George (Denis) Carlin
8. "Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so."-- Belva Davis

Dreams (Part A)

Well- what can I say when I have an idea for a post, I have to run with it.
So- My big idea this time is DREAMS. Do you realize how important dreams are? They shape our lives. They give us hope and keep us young and alive. 8. “The most essential factor is persistence - the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the discouragement that must inevitably come."-- James Whitcomb Riley

12. "America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination, and unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."-- Harry S. Truman

"Keep your determination high and healthy. For with that you will succeed." ~Mindy Bartzen

Determination (Part A)

Determination is a big part of our everyday lives. Wheather we realize that or not, it is.
If we have a Great determination to do something then we can surely do it. It may take time to accomplish the task or dream, but in good time we can accomplish it. Here are a few in a two part series of quotes that I am going to give you - all about determination and persistance.

1. "A failure establishes only this, that our determination to succeed was not strong enough." --Hoshang N. Akhtar
2. "Studies indicate that the one quality all successful people have is persistence. They're willing to spend more time accomplishing a task and to persevere in the face of many difficult odds. There's a very positive relationship between people's ability to accomplish any task and the time they're willing to spend on it."-- Dr. Joyce (Diane Bauer) Brothers
3. “Where the determination is, the way can be found."-- George S. Clason
4. "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent. The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave."-- (John) Calvin Coolidge
5. "I am personally convinced that one person can be a change catalyst, a 'transformer' in any situation, any organization. Such an individual is yeast that can leaven an entire loaf. It requires vision, initiative, patience, respect, persistence, courage, and faith to be a transforming leader."-- Stephen R. Covey
6. "Never let your persistence and passion turn into stubbornness and ignorance."-- Anthony J. D'Angelo
7. “If I had to select one quality, one personal characteristic that I regard as being most highly correlated with success, whatever the field, I would pick the trait of persistence. Determination. The will to endure to the end, to get knocked down seventy times and get up off the floor saying, "Here comes number seventy-one!"-- Richard M. Devos
8. "I never could have done what I have done without the habits of punctuality, order, and diligence, without the determination to concentrate myself on one subject at a time..."-- Charles Dickens
9. "Our determination to imitiate Christ should be such that we have no time for other matters."-- Deciderius Erasmus
10. "Vitality shows not only in the ability to persist, but in the ability to start over."-- F(rancis) Scott (Key) Fitzgerald

There are some very insightful things put into those quotes. Maybe just as simple words- but hey, Whoever said that the best advice had to be long and drawn out intelligant speaking? I mean sometimes we can get the best advice- the best "helping hand" from a simple sentance. Take a min. and just think. Think about what it is that you truly want, then go after it- but go after it with all your might. Go at it with all your determination. Go at it with Jesus at your side- he can help you. If your want, your desire, is true and just and something really worth having. The lord is a great helper. He can give you that extra push- that "fire" for your goal. So what do I say here? I SAY GO FOR IT!!! GO FOR IT WITH ALL YOUR HEART!

Reality

Lets face it, reality bites! Right? I once seen a tee shirt that read "When I get a grip on reality, I'm going to choke it to death" All I have to say about that t-shirt is that probably about 95% of todays working force and students would 100% agree. The other 5% are just plain nuts.

Right here is six qoutes that totally agree on that statement.

1. "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one. "~Albert Einstien
2. "Everything is a dangerous drug except reality, which is unendurable. "~Cyril Connolly
3. "I believe in looking reality straight in the eye and denying it. "~Garrison Keillor
4. "Reality is the leading cause of stress amongst those in touch with it. "~Jane Wagner
5. "Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality. "~Jules de Gaultier
6. "Humankind cannot stand very much reality. "~T.S. Elliot

Life is hilarious.
"Reality is but a mere perception of the greatest thinkers of time to explain the weirdest things of our time, namely tiring daily work schedules that we all hate but go to everyday anyway."~Mindy Bartzen

Stupidity

Sometimes the funniest thing in life is plain stupidity. We find ourselves laughing when someone is "stupid". But they are not stupid, but merely uninformed of the correct information. Possibly even just merely confused at what you're saying. Don't ever label someone "stupid" unless referring to ones self. That way you will be able to avoid hurting someone else's feelings.
Here for you funny bone pleasure , are eight quotes about stupidity. Some are from some very respected and highly dignifid people and others are from some lesser known characters.
1. "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. " ~Albert Einstien
2. "Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped. " ~Elbert Hubbard
3. "To be stupid, selfish, and have good health are three requirements for happiness, though if stupidity is lacking, all is lost. "~Gustave Flaubert
4. "The two most common elements in the universe are Hydrogen and stupidity. "~Harlan Ellison
5. "There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity. "~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
6. "If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions? " ~Scott Adams
7. "Artificial Intelligence is no match for natural stupidity. "~Unknown
8. "Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege. "~Unknown
Just try and think for a second before you open your dangourus mouth. Words ARE truly deadly to anothers heart. Be careful. Have fun in life but, DON'T go to far when it comes to the foolishness of things.
"The tounge is but a sword that can Kill ones imagination and innocence."~Mindy Bartzen
